Gold Mountain has 36 holes and is absolutely worth the trip, with regular sightings of bald eagles and freshly made breakfast egg-and-sausage English muffin sandwiches that locals swear by. If you’re within two hours of Bremerton, WA, this is a must-play.
What I loved most was the atmosphere — the friendly staff and fellow golfers, the way the trees echoes the sounds of the round, and how the sunlight filters through them in a way that makes the course feel calm and almost angelic.
